Through bold color and expressive detail, the piece becomes a personal tribute to brotherhood and the lasting impact of family.

BLUE MOON

Blue Moon began with a portrait of a muse discovered on social media. Her striking eyes and the symmetry of her face immediately caught the artist’s attention and inspired him to recreate her essence through painting.

At the time, the artist was working through a creative “blue phase,” leading him to explore various shades of blue against a black background to make the subject’s features stand out.

The piece incorporates several personal and visual elements. The moon pays tribute to the artist’s wife and her love for it, while the dripping gold chains reference the popular idea of “drip.” The hair was created using bubble paint to introduce a dimensional, 3D effect.

As with the artist’s other work, *Blue Moon* is infused with his signature Sharpism style, combining expressive linework, bold color, texture, and personal symbolism.

**Medium:** Sharpies, Acrylic, and Bubble Paint on Canvas
**Size:** 30 × 40 inches

POETIC JUSTICE

Poetic Justice depicts Janet Jackson as Justice from the classic 1993 film *Poetic Justice*.

Before social media and the constant availability of images online, certain photographs and advertisements became part of our collective memory simply because we saw them everywhere. The imagery surrounding *Poetic Justice* in the early ’90s left a lasting impression, with Janet Jackson’s portrayal of Justice becoming one of the defining images of that era.

This original artwork is the artist’s interpretation of that moment—a tribute to Janet Jackson, Black cinema, ’90s nostalgia, and the cultural impact of *Poetic Justice*.

Justice represented love, vulnerability, creativity, heartbreak, and finding your voice. Through the artist’s Sharpism style, those ideas are reimagined through bold lines, expressive color, and a contemporary interpretation of an image that has remained part of the artist’s memory for decades.

For the artist, this piece is about more than a movie. It is about memory, culture, representation, and the images that become part of who we are.

Through his signature Sharpism style, the artist captures the spirit of Lorenzo’s creativity and the cultural impact of his vision.

The result is an original work celebrating faith, fashion, culture, and creative independence.
