Monica Simmonds is an Experiential Marketing, Community Engagement, and Social Impact Strategist and Principal Consultant of Solomon Simmonds Enterprises. She partners with retail, pharmaceutical, CPG brands, and national nonprofits to design and execute high-impact community activations across multiple cities nationwide. Her work lives at the intersection of brand and community where strategy becomes experience, and experience becomes measurable impact.
But at home, her
most meaningful work doesn’t change, it deepens.
Leadership Starts at Home
Monica brings the same intentional strategy she uses for national campaigns into her family life. For her, motherhood is about raising thinkers, planners, and decision-makers, not by default, but by design.
She creates family planning committees for holidays, trips, and celebrations, turning everyday moments into spaces of leadership and collaboration. Even something as simple as meal planning becomes a shared system of communication, responsibility, and teamwork.
A Legacy Built Intentionally
Through this approach, Monica is raising children who don’t just follow direction, they learn how to build it.
Her philosophy is simple but powerful: leadership is taught in practice, not just in theory.
In both her career and her home, she is building systems that activate people whether in communities across the country or around her own dinner table.
Mother’s Day Reflection
This Mother’s Day, Monica Simmonds reflects a different kind of motherhood, one rooted in intention, structure, and legacy. A motherhood where strategy and love coexist, and where leadership is not just taught, but lived daily.
